ProLab H.323 Test Solution

With the ProLab H.323 Testing solution, entire network systems can be emulated and tested prior to deployment and end user service problems can be evaluated. These include advanced test call emulation, gatekeeper simulation, media analysis, voice and video quality, such as analyzing packet or frame loss, delay, and jitter checking. In addition, the ProLab Testing Suite simulates different network topologies and validates performance of H.323 networks and media quality.

  • Terminal simulation
    The ProLab Testing Suite performs advanced simulation by generating signaling and media. By generating calls, the ProLab Testing Suite performs a variety of tests, including protocol and stress tests.
  • Gatekeeper simulation
    Provides a full gatekeeper application with the possibility to simulate atypical responses according to the standard.
  • Analysis & Report
    The ProLab Test Result Analysis solution offers an intuitive tool to automate testing and results analysis. The solution delivers flexible report generation tools that can be customized to specific requirements.
  • Voice Quality
    ProLab is equipped with both MOS and PESQ (Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality) voice quality tools.
  • Video Quality
    The Video Quality measurement uses different video metrics. It intrusively analyzes received video streams and perceptually scores relevant degradations on a 5-point MOS scale. Additional key performance indicators (KPIs) are output to allow experts to make a more detailed analysis.
  • Automation
    ProLab supports automated testing for both large-scale operations and small to medium-sizes needs. The XML/SOAP interface for controlling the ProLab and intuitive Test Scheduler offer a sophisticated scheduling system for comprehensive automated test procedures.
