The IMS Forum is a global, non-profit industry association devoted to interoperable IP Multimedia Subsystems services and solutions. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of IMS through discussion and resolution of interoperability issues, and the development of standards-based IMS services residing in the IMS application layer. We provide consultancy to industry service providers and vendors on best practices and approaches for IMS rollouts and interconnectivity. The IMS Plugfest™ facilitates the industry-wide certification of applications and services interoperability.

International Multimedia Telecommunications Consortium

RADVISION is the current President of the IMTC, and co-chairman  of the important IMS and 3G-324M Activity Groups.

The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is one of the three Sectors of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which was founded in 1865. The function of ITU-T is to provide global telecommunication standards by studying technical, operating and tariff questions. The results of these studies are published as ITU-T Recommendations.

RADVISION has been an active member of the ITU-T for over a decade, working to improve standards and technologies. This includes 3G-324M, H.248 MEGACO and the H.323 standards.

TISPAN is the ETSI core competence centre for fixed networks and for migration from switched circuit networks to packet-based networks with an architecture that can serve in both to create the Next Generation Network.
Building upon the work already done by 3GPP in creating the SIP-based IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), TISPAN and 3GPP are now working together to define a harmonized IMS-centric core for both wireless and wireline networks.
