Signaling and Media Engines

The BEEHD framework supports both the SIP and H.323 protocols. The Media Engines are a set of codecs and media control layers that handle all the media paths from input devices.

Interactive V2oIP Client

The BEEHD V²oIP Client’s APIs allow easy integration, and require no prior knowledge of complex video conferencing flows. The V²oIP Client includes high level and simple APIs for VoIP calls and remote management, and is interoperable with today’s major video endpoints.

Video Quality (SVC)

The BEEHD uses state-of-the-art enhanced networking protection algorithms (SVC) and bandwidth control to deal with adverse network conditions, packet loss and bits errors. Advanced error protection techniques, such as Forward Error Correction (FEC), Selective Re-Transmission and Video Fast Update (VFU),enable delivery of high quality video even where there is a high rate of high packet loss. 
The BEEHD is multi-protocol, supporting both SIP and H.323. This enables the end product to be used in any kind of a video conferencing deployment without the need for any gateway element.

Interoperability

All RADVISION products and solutions take into account interoperability issues between disparate networks, protocols and devices. The BEEHD has been thoroughly tested for full interoperability with other voice and video clients and servers.

Common Core

The BEEHD Stack is based on RADVISION’s Common Core, an operating system abstraction layer specifically optimized for communication protocols and embedded platforms. This ensures easy portability of developed products between platforms and operating systems, including those not directly supported by RADVISION.

All RADVISION Protocol stacks and development platforms use the same common core. When using more than one Protocol stack in an application, one common core module serves all protocol stacks. This provides the following added benefits:

  • Reduces footprint
  • Boosts performance
BEEHD Client Framework Features Include:

  • Enhanced networking protection algorithms and bandwidth control to deal with adverse network conditions, packet loss and bits errors
  • Advanced error protection techniques, such as Forward Error Correction (FEC), Selective Re-Transmission and Video Fast Update (VFU), enable high level of video quality at packet loss rates as high as 10%.
