Click to Meet adds the ability to create and initiate multimedia conferences directly from within IBM Lotus Instant Messaging (Sametime). With a simple click, users can instantly escalate Instant Messaging chat sessions into a multipoint audio, video, and data session with all the multimedia conferencing capabilities of the Click to Meet client. To support large deployments, Click to Meet creates conferences across multiple servers; and routes and connects conference participants to the server most applicable to the application and network configuration.
Users can utilize IBM Lotus Instant Messaging (Sametime), Windows Messenger, and Office Communicator to launch meetings. Click to Meet enables interoperability with other standard-based endpoints, room or personal videoconferencing systems, 3G videophones and almost any wired or wireless phone available today through RADVISION gateways.
