3G-324M Interoperability

3G-324M is the current standard of choice for video telephony on 3G handsets. A large and growing number of vendors are launching 3G handsets, and as of March 2007, there are over 450 different WCDMA devices and almost 100 million subscribers. For wide-scale deployment like this, interoperability is critical to the success of this commercial interactive video service.

To ensure that our customers can achieve full interoperability in this dynamic market, RADVISION is active in several spheres:
  

• Interoperability and GCF validation documentProviding to customers a unique document to assist them in their interoperability and GCF validation effort. This important component in RADVISION’s 3G-324M Stack considerably reduces the risks and efforts in rolling out 3G products. An overview of this document can be found here.
    
• ProLab 3G Testing SuiteRADVISION’s ProLab 3G Test Solution enables 3G testing and plays a vital role in reducing product development cycles. It is currently used by a large number of customers, operators and GCF test labs.
   
• IMTC 3G-324M AG Co-chairmanshipChairmanship of the IMTC 3G-324M Activity Group, charged with overseeing interoperability of 3G video telephony. Its test cases are being used by the GCF to validate new handsets going to the market.
   
• Free remote IOT serviceProviding the world’s first remote 3G-324M interoperability testing service, since June 2005, to promote adoption of WNSRP as a call setup time reduction technique in mobile handsets.
