RADVISION telemedicine cart prototype to be demonstrated at HIMSS12

Who    RADVISION, a leading technology and end-to-end solution provider for unified visual communications and Enovate, an international manufacturer of mobile and wall mounted computer workstations for the healthcare environment.

RADVISION and Enovate have teamed to develop a standards-based HD telemedicine cart that the two companies will be demonstrating at HIMSS12. The telehealth cart will be fully interoperable with all standards-based video conferencing systems and clients. Demos will also include mobile telemedicine solutions on iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices as well as desktop and PC-based applications like RADVISION SCOPIA Desktop and the RADVISION SCOPIA VC240.

The jointly developed  telemedicine cart will feature:

  • A high definition video camera and microphone 
  • A PC/server and standards-based SIP/H.323 video codec 
  • A high resolution display monitor with the option for a second monitor
  • An anti-microbial and washable keyboard and mouse
  • Sleek and ergonomic design

 
When   The new telemedicine cart will be on display Feb. 21 – 23, 2012 at HIMSS12.
