We currently have an opening for Senior Software Support Engineer in our Technology Business Unit (TBU), to be based in Fair Lawn, NJ. TBU provides protocol development solutions, enabling equipment vendors and service providers to develop and deploy new converged networks, services and technologies.
TBU Protocol frameworks : SIP Stack, IMS SIP stack, SIP Server Framework, B2BUA, Presence Server, H.323 stack, Megaco stack, RTP/RTCP stack, Multimedia Terminal Framework ,Testing tools and more.
Job Function. Responsible for assisting customers with Voice and Video (V2oIP) system design, development and software integration at all stages of the projects. Provide support/consulting/troubleshooting. Develop advanced test setups and tools for software QA and reproduction of the customer problems. Provide customer training courses. Assist in the sales process of TBU Products.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years C/C++ programming experience with VoIP applications and protocols in UNIX and Windows.
- Working knowledge of the telecommunication protocols: SIP, H.323, MEGACO,
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols and APIs
- Strong communication skills
- Customer support experience
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience with embedded systems programming
- Ability to work independently
