Mr. Wiener currently serves as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Wiener joined RADVISION in 2001, bringing extensive experience in designing and building multimedia systems. For the last 9 years at the Company he has focused on exploring and developing technologies and research efforts with regards to interactive visual communications. As CTO, Mr. Wiener is responsible for accelerating RADVISION’s technological strategy and ensuring its continued growth through innovation.
Mr. Wiener is an inventor of several registered patent applications and is the author of various academic research papers. As part of his technology leadership role, Mr. Wiener also serves as co-Chair of the unified communications interoperability forums’ (UCIF) H.264 SVC technical working group.
Mr. Wiener holds a B.A. in Physics, a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
